Alkmar, a subsidiary of Alkoç Group, which has made a name for itself especially in global projects with its dynamic and visionary structure in the maritime sector, has made a synergy partnership with VR Maritime based in India, which has fields of activity in many geographies of the world, and the agreement for mutual cooperation was signed at the Alkoç Group headquarters.

Alkoç Group operates first class ships for different ship types with extensive experience in bulk carriers, tankers, container ships, MPP, PSV, LPG, LNG and FSRU management, besides its management, also provides repair-maintenance, new construction, leasing, consultancy.

Alkoç Group intersected with the service areas of VR Maritime with its activities in the fields of ship agency, satellite communication and communication systems as well as procurement and survey services and turned this into a cooperation.

VR Maritime, one of the well-known ship management companies in India, has been carrying out successful works in its field for 12 years. Thanks to its financial strength and the awareness of its trademarks, it is a company that has made its way by observing the rights of not only ship owners but also seafarers and serving their demands. Today, VR Maritime employs more than 18,000 seafarers.
